Project Management/Control Approach
In continuing the 6,000 year tradition of project management to keep the specified technical parameters of a project within established cost and schedule constraints, KKA implements the following project management process with a common sense approach method.
KKA continues this tradition by providing tools and support to complete the projects on schedule and within budget. These are achieved using Work Breakdown Structures, CPM Network Diagrams, and Resource Loaded Networks, we are able to review and analyze the performance of the project and its forecast trends, and respond to issues in a pro-
KKA’s project management/controls philosophy is based on the Formulate, Execute, Evaluate -
During the Execution phase, project deliverables are produced, and all work is monitored and reported to manage and control progress and costs.
In the Evaluate phase, actual progress and costs are compared to planned progress, and cost/ schedule, major or minor changes are evaluated to correct negative impacts resulting from actual progress and costs not meeting the planned. This process is used to maintain the validity of information in the Project Management/Controls Systems, and to facilitate the project manager with project implementation and performance measurement from a realistic perspective.
The FEE process allows the Project Management/Controls to integrate the project data, and process raw data into meaningful reduced information sets, specifically designed to assist project managers in the decision making process.
The project management tools used by KKA are Oracle Primavera P6 & P3, MS Project, Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk, Bluebeam Revu, MS Office for Windows, Linear Schedule March Chart.
